Description
The RAM® Diamond Plate Base combines a C Size 1.5" Ball with a compact 2.43" x 1.31" mounting plate. Its two-hole AMPS pattern allows it to connect directly to a variety of compatible RAM device holders and cradles or serve as a small-footprint drill-down base.
The powder-coated marine-grade aluminum construction provides a durable mounting point for RAM C Size systems while allowing attached equipment to be positioned through a compatible double socket arm.

Use Cases & Compatibility
This standalone ball base can attach directly to compatible RAM device holders and cradles that use the two-hole AMPS pattern. When paired with a RAM holder or cradle, the holder normally includes the hardware required to connect it to this diamond plate.
The RAM-238U may also be installed as a drill-down base where a compact mounting footprint is preferred. Hardware for attaching the base to a mounting surface is not included. Common drill-down fastener sizes include #8, #10, M4, and M5, depending on the mounting surface and application.
Compatible with a variety of RAM C Size 1.5" socket arms and mounting components.
