The RAM® Post Clamp Base with 1" Ball (RAM-B-247U-2) is a rugged mounting component designed to attach securely to square posts, rails, and structural frames. Featuring the RAM® B Size 1" rubber ball, this clamp base integrates seamlessly into the RAM Mounts ball-and-socket system, allowing you to connect a compatible RAM B Size double socket arm and device holder for a fully adjustable mounting solution.
The durable clamp design consists of a front plate with the integrated 1" ball and a matching rear plate secured with stainless steel hardware. Once tightened, the mount provides a strong and stable attachment point for mounting devices such as phones, GPS units, tablets, radios, and other equipment.
Constructed from marine-grade aluminum and finished with RAM’s durable powder coating, this base is engineered to withstand demanding environments including vehicles, marine installations, and outdoor applications.
